The Last Word was created in the early 1920s at the Detroit Athletic Club.
Glass: Coupe
Garnish: Maraschino cherry
- 0.75 oz (22.5 ml) dry gin
- 0.75 oz (22.5 ml) Green Chartreuse
- 0.75 oz (22.5 ml) maraschino liqueur (Luxardo)
- 0.75 oz (22.5 ml) lime juice
Method:
- In a cocktail shaker, add all the ingredients
- Shake with ice for 10-12 seconds
- Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
