The drink was created by Frank Meier, the first head bartender of the Hôtel Ritz Paris, during the 1920s. Previously known as the Basil Pesto.
Glass: Coupe
Garnish: Lemon twist
- 2 oz (60 ml) dry gin
- 1 oz (30 ml) lemon juice
- 0.75 oz (22.5 ml) honey syrup
Method:
- In a cocktail shaker, add all the ingredients
- Shake with ice for 10-12 seconds
- Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
