White Lady Cocktail Recipe

Closely associated with London's Savoy Hotel and Harry Craddock, who published it in The Savoy Cocktail Book in 1930.

Glass: Coupe
Garnish: Lemon twist

  • 2 oz (60 ml) Aromatic gin
  • 0.75 oz (22.5 ml) Cointreau
  • 0.75 (22.5 ml) lemon juice 
  • 0.25 oz (7.5 ml) simple syrup
  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) egg white

Method:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add all the ingredients
  2. Dry shake (without ice)
  3. Wet shake (with ice) for 10-12 seconds
  4. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
