Threefold Distilling moves into Stepney cellar door!

ADELAIDE, SA — The team from Threefold Distilling have moved their operations into the city-fringe venue, Fergs Stepney. The venue is a collaborative cellar door now featuring Threefold Distilling, Moorak wines and Massey wines.
After releasing their first gin in December 2019, they’ve now moved their still in amongst the wine barrels of the Stepney warehouse, turned bar.
Fergs Stepney co-founder Jordan Hein is excited to expand and diversify what Fergs offers and it will continue to be a home for small producers to connect with their consumers.
“We opened Fergs with the vision of being a hub for small producers. We want to be broader than just a cellar door for one producer, we’re multiple producers with multiple offerings. Plus, you’re meeting the winemaker, the brewer or the distiller and learning their creative process behind it,” said Hein.
Threefold Distilling are equally excited to be producing in Fergs and the Stepney area, just three weeks after releasing their first gin. Their official launch party is being held on the 1st of February at the cellar door - Fergs, 8a Union St, Stepney.
“We love the neighbourhood environment, it’s important to us as we’ve made something for anyone to appreciate and not just an experienced gin drinker,” said co-founder Aidan Shaw.
He’s joined by co-founders, Luke Fleming and Steven Roennfeldt who’ve combined their wealth of hospitality experience and spent nine months creating a recipe for a balanced gin, that steers clear of being one dimensional.
Threefold Distilling create small-batch, handcrafted spirits & liqueurs that are greater than the sum of their parts. A team of three passionate bartenders crafting unique spirits, goods vibes and great times. The founders Aidan Shaw, Luke Fleming and Steven Roennfeldt bring a wealth of experience and knowledge from their tenure in the hospitality industry both locally and abroad.
