The three of us (Aidan, Luke and Steve) lived and worked in the Glenelg area during our younger years. It's the main reason we decided to call Glenelg home for our distillery.

Glenelg is also home to countless great cafes and restaurants that showcase a wide variety of cuisines including seafood, Italian and Thai. We wanted to share some of what Glenelg has to offer whilst keeping it impartial -- so we've compiled the top 15 places to eat according to Google reviews.

“Glenelg BBQ Inn is our go-to spot for birthdays, and for good reason! The complimentary bread and butter were a delightful start, with this that bread set the tone for a great meal. The meats were perfectly cooked to the way you asked them to be, the spices were just amazing! A blast full of flavors. There were salads on the sides as well too! Some of the kids had a burger and their feedback was really good. They do have a small space for a steak inn but just manage a booking so you can secure a seat, it gets pretty busy sometimes, it's popular for a reason.”

“Set back a few streets from the beach front but only a 2 min walk from tram stop 14 and clearly visible from the tram this is a great little cafe and perfect for a peaceful breakfast with seating inside and out. We ordered the seafood platter, surf and turf salad and chips they were all delectable and spot on. We were a family of 4 with 2 Teenagers and this place didn't disappoint.
