Method: shake and strain
Glassware: cocktail coupe
INGREDIENTS
- 30ml Shiraz Mourvèdre gin

30ml Aromatic gin
-
30ml Lemon juice
-
20ml 1-1 Simple syrup
-
15ml egg white or vegan cocktail foamer
- Dehydrated orange
METHOD
- Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake without ice for 5 seconds
- Shake vigorously with ice for 8 seconds and strain into a cocktail glass
- Garnish with a dehydrated orange slice on top of the foam
BARTENDERS NOTES
Flavour and foam are the most important part of making a sour, shaking all ingredients without ice helps emulsify the egg white or cocktail foamer without over-diluting the flavours. Play around with different ratios of Shiraz Mourvèdre and Aromatic. The above recipe is our favourite, but get creative and see what your favourite ratios may be!
